navi pack: hooked on back of seat.

i evolved the look of the pack a bit more, and i think it's more successful. the lighter colors and thinner lines give the illusion of it looking/ feeling lighter, which is a good thing since this pack would probably be carrying some pretty heavy duty stuff.

latest renditions of the navi pack..

i like this one the best so far. how the graphic flows continuously is my favorite part.
looks a bit like a beetle though, eh?

KIA!

Here are some images to show some of the stuff I worked on at RTT during my internship over the summer. We used RTTDeltaGen for all of the interior renders. More to come soon on Kia's website, www.kia.com

Navistar: International Trucks

Project Brief:
Design a Navistar branded container for the long haul driver that would accommodate storage for travel-wear and other essentials this would include driver necessities such as: clothes food medical supplies cold-storage toiletries water-proof/climate-adaptable design location device secure compartments and whatever else you feel may be beneficial to the driver. Your design should be transportable by the driver alone and designed to fit comfortably in the cab or sleeping compartment. Research driver needs as well as truck interior design.

My Initial Thoughts:

--How would they carry this container in/ out of the truck?
   --What is important to them?
--Wouldn't what they carry change depending on the driver?
--How can you make a one size fits all container for every type of trucker?

Initial Sketches

every trucker needs tools..

modular idea: driver only uses/ takes the packs he/ she needs.

size variation / how they would pack their luggage

hygiene bag idea

latching onto the back of the seat?

how each pack would hook onto eachother
